Why Should Italy Be On Your Trip List? by Chiara Marangoni
Italy, the capital of art and food. These two reasons should be enough for booking a trip to Italy, but I have more than two.
Italian food is one of the most amazing cuisines in the world. Their food history started a long time ago and every recipe is passed down from generation to generation. The most famous meals are lasagna, pasta al ragu’, carbonara, and pizza.
All over the country, you can see artworks wherever you turn. A lot of famous painters or sculptors are Italian. Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Raffaello, and Caravaggio are just some of them. The architecture is complex and studied. During the Roman Empire, Italian architecture started to be known all over the world.
Speaking of the Roman Empire, the largest empire in history: around all of Italy there are Roman remains. Rome is obviously where most of them are, such as the Colosseum. But all the cities have small places that tell Roman history.
Which place should you see? Rome, of course. Milan if you prefer something more modern or if you like fashion and architecture. Venice is a good city to visit with your partner. Florence and Bologna are great for food and art. If you want to go to the sea, Sardinia has the best sea view, but Puglia and Calabria also are very good options.
Italy is also known for its parties and aperitifs. So if you want to experience one of them, come to Milan, and I can show you the surroundings and make you live an authentic Italian life.
