Senior Game Updates by Elsa Dean
The senior game has been going on for three weeks now, and it has become very intense. The basic concept of the game is that each player receives the randomly generated name of their target, and they must seek them out and squirt them with a water gun. With bragging rights and cash on the line, the contestants are getting super competitive.
The game started with a massive group of almost thirty kids, but it has been whittled down to six. Nine players were eliminated the first week, and two the second week. Several players failed to squirt their person two weeks in a row, which, according to the official rules, meant automatic elimination. A couple of players even forfeited!
This week, 8 people were still in the game. The players were Haley Rivera, Ellen Martinsson, Trinity Stygstra, Jefferson McCluskey, Anna Deyoung, Caden Davis, Grace Dombrowski, and Natalie Tuckerman. Natalie had the first success of the week, eliminating Anna on Wednesday night. However, her luck ran out and she was shocked to be eliminated by Trinity the very next day. With little players left, it is fair to say that the game will be over by next week. If Ellen, Jefferson, Caden, and Haley fail to catch their targets by this Sunday night, they will be all out of free passes, and therefore out of the game. If that occurs, then it will be a toss-up between Grace and Trinity.
We will wait and see what happens as the senior game continues to heat up!
