Meet Penny Grob! by Ashtyn O’Neill
Penny Grob is a sophomore at Saugatuck. Penny has made a name for herself in being an extraordinary athlete and person around here at Saugatuck. She enjoys talking to and hanging out with her friends and playing sports.
Penny has been on the Varsity Basketball team since she came here her freshman year. She plays wing and never fails to impress a crowd with her skills. Penny continues to put forth her best effort throughout her sophomore year which has helped lead the Trailblazers to a very successful season thus far. Penny also played volleyball on our JV Volleyball team this year being a left back. Even though it was her first year playing, she still put through her best effort and proved she can do whatever she puts her mind to.
Penny has one dog named Hazel and two brothers who are named Everett and Wally who she is very thankful for. Her favorite class is her art class because it allows her to catch up with her friends without too much of a workload. One of her main goals for the rest of this school year is to work on getting her grades up to a point where she is satisfied with them.
Overall, Penny has been such a joy to have at Saugatuck and has made a lot of friends and connections, despite only transferring here last year. We have been very thankful to have Penny here and you should be too!
