New Construction Almost Done by Evan Kothman
The new construction is almost done for the school and it is time to talk about how good it looks and how hard the construction crew worked. The murals have also looked good and although they have to go when the walls are torn down, they look really good and colorful.
The new classrooms are looking great. Some rooms will be opened after spring break. Teachers should start getting excited about the new classrooms. The construction crew deserves a ton of credit. Each room contains a brand new electric clock, a white board, and a projector. These rooms have been worked on for about a year. Oliver Hosier says they look nice and have a lot of new items, but could be less bland and have more color. Right now it's tough getting through the hallways near those new rooms, but it is ok because they will be gone soon.
Next is the outside layer of the school. The outside layer of the high school has been a ton of hard work. This is because they have to redo the roof, the walls, and anything else that was wanted out of the way. Freshman Arlo Holstine says that it was kind of annoying that no one could use the road by the main doors, as it was blocked off due to the construction. These are great points because it is hard driving in and out of the school. Especially when you have to get through traffic through small roads.
The office will also be affected through this tough process. As it is being redone. The office we have right now is only temporary and will be changed when construction is done after spring break.
The construction in general has looked good even with the little construction done last year. The construction crew has been working from before school hours, from later in the day, and after school hours. Once the construction is over, hopefully soon, the road will open up and people will be able to get in and out of the school easier. The students and staff can not wait to be able to see all the new classrooms and all the new rooms like the library and the office.
