Warm Weather This Week by Andre R.K.
Starting out this week we were experiencing some unexpected warm weather. This past week, the highest temperature we reached was 77° with a low of 35°. In this article, we are going to talk about what weather to expect this upcoming week.
Unfortunately, the warm weather has passed and is most likely to return in the spring. Looking ahead to next week's weather there will be a high of 62° and a low of 41°. Thankfully, there is only rain on Saturday; however, this week will not be as sunny and mostly cloudy.
Along with the temperatures getting colder, we also have to expect the sunrises to be later and sunsets sooner. As of right now, the sunrise is around 8:30 am, and the sunset is at 6:30 pm. Meaning we are left with 10 hours of daylight. This may not sound that bad, but our daylight is quickly diminishing. Compared to the summer there were on average 15 hours of daylight. It may not seem like a big difference, but when wanting to do work or stay out later it becomes harder and harder.
Looking ahead to December we have about 9 hours of daylight left. Conveniently starting December 21st, which is Winter Solstice, we will start to add time to daylight.
Everyone should make sure to enjoy the sunshine and the days that are left that are warmer before the frigid winter comes. Even though it is quite cold out this week, get outside, enjoy the sun and enjoy those pumpkin spice lattes before they are gone. Stay warm and enjoy the weather everyone!
