Mia Zerfas by Milo Haddock
Mia Zerfas is another senior student attending Saugatuck High School who is planning on graduating this year.
Mia had been interviewed by me, so I could see their opinions on what they think about their soon to come graduation.
Mia was first asked the question, what are your plans after high school and the future? To which Mia replied with, “I plan to go to Columbia College in Chicago and finish a 4 year degree as a film/television major. In the future, I hope to stay in Chicago and find a stable job in film.”
This here asserts Mia’s plans for their future to come, and how they will do whatever they can in their power to achieve this goal.
Mia was then asked about their thoughts and feelings about senior year. Mia made sure to give an honest opinion, and answered back with: “My feelings about senior year have varied quite a bit. On one hand, I've had a great time with the seniors and feel less stressed out than I have in previous years, but on the other hand, some days make it feel like graduation isn't coming soon enough.” This can be a great quote for some to look off of for reference, as Mia touches into the both positive and negative aspects of senior year.
Finally, Mia was asked to give a thoughtful piece of advice for other upperclassmen. Mia made sure to give great advice for others. “One piece of advice I have for underclassmen is to really start to think about what you're passionate about. There are so many options for you to explore, and life after high school doesn't always have to be college or more school. Make sure that whatever you choose to do is what you feel the most comfortable with whilst also exploring your creativity.” Mia put positive thought into this, and knows from first hand experience what's best to do in senior year.
Mia Zerfas is thanked for sharing their senior experience with many others, and being willing to help them get through it with ease.
