Spain vs the US by Mario Pastor
There are some differences between Spain and the U.S., like the public transport; we have it, but we prefer to go in our car. Allso, smoking is very common in Spain, lots of cigarettes are made in Spain and that has an actual effect on people. We also love eating meat, every type of meat: beef, pork, chicken. Another one is that we don’t care about the personal space, we are always touching, hitting and having physical contact with each other. We also pay lots of things with our card instead of paying with cash.
People are worse than in the U.S. They are so serious and mean;, we also hang out very often, because we are always outside and we have siesta in the middle of the day. We have lunch and dinner later: lunch by 2:00-2:30 pm and dinner by 10:00-11:00 pm. and we go to bed later, at 12:00 ish. Also, we are always saying bad words and joking with politics and topics that can be serious, but we make fun of everything. We have different meals, usually healthier because we have the Mediterranean diet.
Neither of both country is better or worse. It’s just different because It’s another culture and another way to see things. I personally like both countries.
