The Epstein List by Vivian Vallarsa
Thousands of pages of sealed documents from a lawsuit involving Jeffrey Epstein have been released following a court order involving Virginia Giuffre from December 18th. These documents were released in batches, spanning from January 3rd to January 9th, when the final batch was released.
These documents contained many well-known names. Not all of the names mentioned were in relation to Epstein’s illegal activities, only in relation to Epstein in some way. Despite this, there has been speculation about many of the people mentioned.
Some well-known names mentioned in the documents include Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Stephen Hawking, Donald Trump, Bruce Willis, Cameron Diaz, Cate Blanchett, Kevin Spacey, Naomi Campbell, and Leonardo DiCaprio. As stated before, just because these names were mentioned in the documents, it doesn't mean that they were involved in any of Epstein’s illegal activities. The court stated, “Inclusion in the newly unredacted documents is not an indication of wrongdoing or lawbreaking.”
In total, there were 4,553 pages of documents made public. These documents included the names of over 150 people who were connected to, or mentioned. There were many more victim’s names who were redacted to maintain their privacy.
The released documents were part of a settled defamation lawsuit against Epstein’s ex-girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell by Virginia Roberts Giuffre. The lawsuit was in 2017 with only a few documents being released at the time. The newly released documents were kept sealed until Wednesday, January 3, 2024.
