MLS is right around the corner; however, teams have been playing for a while one in particular is Inter Miami. Inter Miami picked up a relatively well-known player on the scene, none other than the Lionel Messi. For those who have never heard of Messi, where have you been for most of your life? Lionel Messi is an Argentinian-born and raised soccer player who has risen to the top of the ranks. He is a world-renowned striker known for his playmaking and goalscoring feats.
Inter Miami has had its first games over the past month within club-friendly competitions. So far their Record has been nothing to write home about. The most recent game was on February 1st and Miami lost by an upset of 6-0 against Al Nasar. Although, this was not the only loss they've suffered so far. They played 3 other games within the last month losing 2 of which by 1 point and tying the other.
With the recent games, Inter Miami is not looking as good as everyone believed it to be when the news of Messi broke out. However, mark your calendars as Inter Miami's first game that counts airs on February 21, 2024, against Real Salt Lake for the first game of the MLS season. Will Messi step it up?
