Recent Snowy Weather by Logan Luft
As the fall season slowly begins to fade away and the winter season begins to approach, some of us are glad there is little to no snow, while others are a little sad. Although we have opinions and facts on what is causing us to have a “warm” winter, we can slowly begin to see the temperature drop.
According to TimeAndDate, a reliable weather source nationwide, the weather from the past two weeks has been. . . interesting. The highest point of temperature was 56 °F (Dec 8, 1:53 pm). This would seem normal; however, it is also December, in Michigan. The lowest point of temperature was 27 °F (Dec 20, 10:53 pm).
According to the same website, the weather for the next two weeks seems to have some ups and downs to it. Throughout December 23 - December 26, the temperatures seem to be in the high 40s; however, throughout those days it should be raining all day (an average of 12 in rain). Since there is gonna be a lot of rain, expect the roads and sidewalks to be icy. The lowest temperatures are December 30th, January 1st, and January 3rd. These temperatures range from 36 °F to 29 °F.
Some days to look at in the future include December 26, 0.24 inches of rain while it is falling. December 30th, the snow will be changing to rain, 1.28 inches. And last but certainly not least, on January 4th, where there will be heavy rain, almost 13 inches worth of rain!
To summarize, the weather recently has been seeing a lot of change, and it doesn’t seem like that's gonna stop. Although we are going to see a little more snowy winter, there are some days to look out just to be safe. Like always, try to be safe, and have a wonderful day.
