In my opinion, this movie was very uplifting and optimistic. I’d say, it was almost too optimistic to the point where it seemed unrealistic. Very few troubles were had between the rowing team when they were working their way to the Olympics, and it seems like this part of the film wouldn’t be historically accurate. Besides the seemingly unrealistic feel of the film, it was very well-made.
