Daniel Suarino by Benny Majer
Daniel Suarino, a 13 year old in 8th grade is new to Saugatuck High School this year. He went to Glenn Westlake Middle School In Lombard, Illinois, near Chicago, and he says, switched to Saugatuck, “Because my family moved here this year. My parents owned a rental property here before we moved, so that’s probably why they chose Saugatuck. My parents wanted to move because it’s a lot quieter and smaller here. My old school was way bigger with about 500 students per grade.”
When asked if he likes it so far, he responded with, “Yeah, I think it's a much better school and I like the whole of Saugatuck much more.”
Daniel doesn’t really play any sports yet, but he is thinking about starting to play basketball sometime in the next few years. His favorite class would probably be history class with Mr. Grech.
When asked about a favorite food he responded with, “Not really a specific one, but I like all kinds of pasta.”
Daniel seems like a really nice guy, so if you see him around, be sure to say hello!
