Saugatuck Students Favorite Snacks! by Grace Dombrowski
It is fall time so you know what that means… time to curl up on your couch and watch your favorite spooky movie with your favorite snacks. Saugatuck students have been really in the fall spirit this year watching lots of movies and eating lots of snacks!
Senior Elsa Dean at Saugatuck High School explained that her favorite snack is Crunchy Curls. Elsa said that they are her favorite snack because they are very tasty and healthy. Elsa explained that it is such a good after school snack because they are light, airy, and delicious.
Natalie Tuckerman said that apples and extra sharp cheddar cheese is her favorite. She explains that it is her favorite snack because it is something that is easy to whip up and it is healthier than eating chips.
Xander, a senior at Saugatuck, said that his favorite snack is corn tortilla chips. He explains that they are his favorite because his mom always has them in the house, so it is always an easy snack to grab. He does say that tortilla chips with some kind of dip are great to have, but even just the salty chip itself is amazing.
Erica, a senior at Saugatuck, said their favorite snack is aloe vera drink. It is very refreshing, and is such a yummy drink. They explain that another favorite snack is also pretzels, peanuts, and candy corn as a trail mix, but they only eat it during the spooky season.
Madison is a senior. Her favorite snacks are carrots and hummus because they aren’t overly filling, so they are easy to eat and she doesn't feel gross after eating them. Madison also explains that tiny powder donuts are so delicious and she loves it for fall. Puppy chow is also a big favorite for fall.
Andreas, a senior at Saugatuck believes that cashews are the best because they are healthy and crunchy. They explain that carrots with salt are amazing because you get some crunchy and some salt. They also love popcorn with Tajin on it. They enjoy the spice with the salt and the popcorn all together.
