The San Francisco 49ers outlasted the Green Bay Packers 24-21 in the divisional round of the play offs to save their spot for the NFL Conference Championship, which they’ll compete in for the third time in a row.
The game was really close, although both teams struggled as the match started. By halftime the 49ers had a close 7-6 lead. Then, in the third quarter the teams had three consecutive touchdowns, so that the Green Bay Packers led the Game by 21-14. But then, in the last quarter a Dre Greenlaw interception turned the game around, leading to the 49ers getting a touchdown, PAT, and a field goal while the Packers had no luck scoring. Those ten points won the game for the 49ers and kicked the Packers out of the playoffs.
