Maximus Schults by Kamryn Sixberry
Maximus Schuls is a student that is new to Saugatuck Middle School this year. Maximus Schultz is an eighth grader. He made sure to point out that he goes by Max, not Maximus. Max was asked a few questions about what he has liked at the school so far, and he also shared a few of his favorite things so that people can get to know him and his experience at the school a little better. He was also asked what his favorite part of our school is, his favorite holiday, what extracurricular activities he likes to do and enjoys after school, if he has enjoyed this school year so far, and his favorite class. His answers to these questions offered an insightful look into his life.
What Max is most interested in at our school is the Industrial Arts program. Max’s favorite class, which is unsurprisingly Industrial Arts, is taught by Mr. Heyser. Max gets to learn how to build things and gets to work with his hands, which he enjoys doing very much.
Max’s favorite holiday is Christmas, where there is a lot of snow, especially in Saugatuck. Max enjoys that he gets to spend time with his family on Christmas, and he gets a holiday break away from school. He loves to open presents with his family and enjoys the break because he is a student athlete.
The extracurricular activities Max likes to enjoy after school is in fall, football, but when it’s spring time, he likes to play baseball. He very much enjoys playing with his teams.
Max’s favorite teacher in this school so far is Mr. Philips, as he likes the humor Mr. Philips brings into the classroom. Max has been enjoying his time at school in Saugatuck Middle School very much. He has loved this school year so far, getting to meet some new people and make some new friends.
Overall, Max is having an amazing beginning to the school year and has felt very welcome to our school by everyone here. Max is happy he and his family decided to come to Saugatuck for school.
