“Healthy” Habits That Aren't Healthy by Madeline Villalobos
A habit many people have that isn't healthy is sleeping in on the weekends.
This is very odd because it’s such a great thing to do and it's something people often do to catch up on any missed weekday sleep. Sleeping in is not doing your health any good because it may urge you to overeat and be more exhausted during the work week, it also throws off your schedule.
Another extremely odd habit is always eating your veggies, who would think of this because they're good for you? However, always eating veggies is not healthy because if they aren't so appealing to you and you force yourself to eat them you are setting up a bad experience with eating healthy.
Settling on a salad every day. This is not as healthy as many people think it is because people think that eating a salad is a low-calorie, healthy option which definitely can be, but only if you do it correctly. Talking about salads, fat-free dressing isn't a good thing because many contain additives and a lot of sugar to repay for not having any fat. A tip that was given from the women's day article was to squeeze some lemon juice on your salad as well with olive oil and a splash of vinegar and season things up with fresh herbs and dress spices like red chile pepper flakes, freshly ground pepper, and oregano.
There are many more habits people do every day that are unhealthy and crazy to believe.
